I put some sesame seeds on our homemade hamburger buns. Don't they look almost real?

Unidentified Tasting Object
For the last couple weeks we have been loading up on fruits and vegetables from Bountiful Baskets. We love the idea of having fresh food. Often, much of the fruit is gone the first day! For those of you who haven't tried it, you purchase a basket of food on Monday on their website. You have no idea what will be in the basket. It is always a big surprise to find out what you got when you arrive to pick up the baskets.
Most of the fruits and vegetables are "normal", but there is usually one or two things that we have never tried or don't eat commonly. We have gotten coconuts, mangos, blackberries, asparagus, etc. in addition to the normal apples, oranges, lettuce, celery.
I haven't price checked, but it seems to be a good value.
Well this week we got something unusual that nobody has been able to identify yet. PLEASE HELP! Do you know what this is? We have narrowed it down to either a fruit or a vegetable. If it is a fruit, it is not ripe.

A Smile for Winter
I know winter has been too long when I start photographing all the food we make. However I couldn’t resist sharing this one. Our chicken pot pie was smiling back!
