The weather outside is frightful....

Last week we had lots of SNOW!  We shoveled our driveway over and over to keep up with all the falling snow.  The boys even helped with a few of the neighbor's driveways.

I love the Holidays!! With 5 kids, Christmas morning is so fun. This year was all about the "opening" of presents. Cale helped everyone open gifts. We had wrapping paper all over the house. I can't wait until next year when we get to do it all again!

Cale-ism #2

Cale: Mom, I need to talk to you
Melissa: What do you need Cale
Cale: I just want to be awesome and no one will let me.
Melissa: You can be awesome tomorrow.  Just go to bed.

Cale-ism #1

Cale has got to be one of the funniest kids I know.  Here is a snippet of our conversation tonight as I was putting him to bed (after loading his bed with plastic dinosaurs):

Brian: Good night it is time to go to sleep.
Cale: I am so tired.
Brian: Lets tuck you in and turn out the light.
Cale: I don't want to go to bed.
Brian: But I thought you said you were so tired
Cale: I am so tired of people not letting me play with my dinosaurs

The first 12 years!!!

December 20th Brian and I celebrated 12 years. I am so glad to have found the most wonderful guy. hopefully he does everything I say so we can have 12 more years together.

A Girl and A Phone

Over the last few days I have got several calls from my cell phone. Nope, it wasn't Melissa. She doesn't take the cell phone anywhere (and she was home anyway). So I took a quick second to locate the phone. Guess where it was... In Camree's hands. As soon as she saw me, she put the phone behind her back and tried to run away as fast as she could so I couldn't grab it from her.

It seems she likes the green call button and she has found if she pushes it more than once, someone starts talking to her.

If you get a call from swan valley (I don't know why that is what shows up on caller id), it just might be... well, our baby.
