Apple Pie

I absolutely LOVE apple pie.  A slice of homemade apple pie and vanilla ice cream - mmmm.  I recently found out that I liked to make my own apple pie.  The crust may not look professional.  I especially have not mastered the design of the edges.  For some reason I forgot to slit the top of the crust until it was almost done.  That may have been the reason that liquid leaked out all over the pan underneath.  Melissa had to get the pie out the of oven a little early because of all the black smoke from burning liquid.

But all in all I think I did pretty good.
