I recently added the doughnut meter to this blog. You will find it on the right hand side of the page close to the bottom. It looks like this:
This tells me how many doughnuts I burned off as calories this year riding the exercise bike and the road bike outside. That 103 doughnuts translates to about 380 miles on the bike this year or about 21 hours. Unfortunately most of those miles have been inside on the exercise bike in front of the TV. I can't wait for it to warm up a bit so I can get outside more often.
My goal for the year is about 4500 miles. By the end of the year you should see this up to 1,200+ doughnuts burned. Hooray!!!
What to do with all those doughnuts I have burned off as calories. I can think of nothing better than to go make some homemade doughnuts from one of my favorite bloggers, "The Pioneer Woman".
Here is her recipe:

It is amazing to see how much we have in common. Cooking, photography, and Gardening!

Mmmmm, I saw those too and wanted to make them.
ReplyDeleteJulianne said this cake was so delicious:

Except she ate too much and got sick, since it's made of prunes.
