This week we made homemade Kolaches. We used to love the Kolaches at the Kolache Factory in Houston. I haven't found anything like them here in Idaho Falls. The kids love to help stuff them with ham, cheese, or sausage (normally little smokies). The trick is to put a piece of what is inside on the outside because after they are made, they all look the same. Don't they look yummy?
Melissa just had her eyes dilated so they were very sensitive to the light. Oh I wish I could have captured a picture of her eyes because they looked like vampire eyes. She wouldn't let me use the flash on the camera.
What a great opportunity to whip out the candles and have a candle light dinner.
No, we aren't worshiping our dinner although it may look like it.
